This project is an explorative process in which each person can take away something different. These experiences add to my interests in philanthropy, the environment, and archaeological processes.
For those of you who are not familiar with geocaches, they are sort of like a scavenger hunt but with GPS coordinates. (I know geeky..snort snort...but whatever I dig it) Although the contents are usually pretty insignificant in terms of value, hopefully you will find them interesting to look at. Geocaching is a selfless hobby because it was created purely for the benefit of others to enjoy. This lends weight to the possibility that humanity still has a need to create for others in a society where everything is based around consumerism. This hobby also speaks to the archaeologist or adventurer in all of us who seek to find those treasures which are hidden from everyday view.
